Friday is most folks' favorite day, but we get the feeling Lamar Odom was not getting down on this particular Friday. That's because on Friday, August 30, Lamar was arrested on suspicion of DUI and put in holding at LAPD Valley Jail for nearly two hours. And according to another inmate (who was arrested and later released for misdemeanor vandalism), Lamar got some unwanted special treatment from the inmates and corrections officers there.
"He just looked real angry and upset, and a lot of people were making Lakers jokes," the witness told Entertainment Tonight reporters who asked about how Lamar appeared during his brief incarceration. Apparently even the corrections officers had some heckling for the star. However, it wasn't all bad. "He got more privileges than everybody, though, since he's a celebrity," the unidentified inmate said. Those privileges included isolation from the general population of "hobos and drunk people."
Whether or not Lamar received any special privileges during his stay is up for debate, but one thing's for sure: His driving privileges have been revoked for one year after he refused all tests for drugs and alcohol.
