The Vampire Diaries star is developing a show for the network titled From the Top. The scripted drama will focus on the world of backup dancers, specifically seven individuals, as they navigate Hollywood.

Kat will executive produce the Warner Bros. Television drama and is not currently attached to star in it, per The Hollywood Reporter. Given that fact, we doubt this will impact her time on TVD. (Happy dance.)

This is the perfect pet project for the 26-year-old because she got her start as a backup dancer for the likes of Missy Elliott, Nelly, Usher, and many more.

Her debut album Roxbury Drive is currently out, she’s stepped into a leading lady spot on TVD after Nina Dobrev’s departure, and she’s landed a role as Tammi Terrell in a biopic about the late singer.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
