As Pregnant Kate Middleton nears her due date, it seems like all of the United Kingdom is preparing for the big event.
A source tells Us Weekly that both mother and unborn child seem healthy. "She's full of energy and really rather used to the bump! … Naturally she is a little nervous about the big day, what new mum wouldn't be?"
The insider tells the magazine that she's been passing the time by overseeing renovations of her and hubby Prince William's 20-room flat inside Kensington Palace.
"She's still busy, making sure she's done as much as possible for the new house before the baby is born … Once the baby is here, she won't have time for anything else!"
People reports that the Duchess is keeping a low profile, splitting her time between London and her parents' house about 55 miles west in the village of Bucklebury.
"She's very much looking after herself," a source tells People.
As for William, he's still working as a rescue helicopter pilot in North Wales, but People reports that he has contingency plans for hightailing it to London when the baby comes and speculates that he might have already taken time off.
Meanwhile, preparations for the birth are already underway at St. Mary's Hospital in London, as Kate will deliver the baby in the hospital's Lindo Wing.
In fact, parking is prohibited outside the wing for the entire month of July.
40 feet from the entrance to the wing, various press outlets are already camping out to get the best vantage point for the big reveal. People reports that as many as 60 photographer ladders have been put up!
The mag also cites a source who reveals that the royals' go-to gynecologist, Dr. Marcus Setchell, 69, has said that he's abstaining from alcohol all month!
Sounds like everyone is ready for this heir to make his royal entrance!Source: Us Weekly, People
