Kate Middleton and Prince William Missed Prince George’s First Crawl
Baby’s first smile, giggle, step, word. These are all milestones in a new human’s development and moms and dads usually want to be around to experience it all. Unless they’re British royalty and happen to be on vacation in the Maldives.
We don’t mean to sound harsh toward Kate Middleton and Prince William but they did kinda miss their 8-month-old son’s first foray into self propelled forward motion. That’s right, the little prince crawled for the first time earlier this month, according to Us Weekly, but the royal mother and father were unfortunately away on their first vacation sans baby to the Maldives’ five-star Cheval Blanc Randheli resort.
While the couple did just successfully hire a new nanny for little George, the tot was being watched by Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, when he made the newsworthy progress.
Kate and Wills may have missed this one but rest assured they’ll be witness to plenty of other exciting developments in the months and years to come (or so we hope). "William and Kate are excited about the many milestones ahead," an insider told Us. "George already has a tiny tooth coming in. And his cheeks are chubbier than ever!"
In the meantime, these royal parents will need to break in their running shoes. We have a feeling little George is gonna be a true traveling tot!
