Kate Middleton might not have always been royalty, but setting a good example definitely comes easily to her. The Duchess of Cambridge’s latest act of kindness went down when she checked in on a project she’s involved with that helps children from parents who suffer with addiction — and looked fabulous (as always) in a pink dress and nude heels.
The 32-year-old mom stopped in at a North London elementary school to get an update on her project, which is called M-Pact Plus, according to People. She and comedian John Bishop started the project in Manchester in 2013, and it’s funded in part by Comic Relief and the Royal Foundation.
After chatting with children outside the school, Kate headed inside to discuss the project’s initiatives with teachers and charity workers, asking questions about how well the project seems to be working so far in helping to find and help children with parents who may suffer from substance abuse.
Prince George’s parents — dad William included — have always held children’s causes close to their hearts, and we’re guessing that their love of children has only grown since becoming parents to one of their own.
We’re glad Kate’s working so hard to make the world a better (and way more fashionable) place. Is she ready to trade lives with us yet?
