Can we take a second to discuss how adorable Prince George is? The royal eight-month-old (and his chubby little cheeks) kicked off his three-week tour in New Zealand the only way he knew how: with a playdate accompanied by 10 other babies! Cute, right? We just can’t help but wonder if the little tot spotted his future Queen!
Sadly no (he’s a little too young for that!), this little Prince seemed to only have eyes for his mom, Kate Middleton, and of course, her famously luxurious locks. The royal baby was seen playing with Kate’s hair in between all of his crawling and playing with toys, and it was kind of priceless.
Along with him for the event were his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who handled the adult chit-chat part of the meet and greet held at the Government House in part with the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society. From what we can tell, it looked like Prince George’s first royal engagement went off without a hitch! Besides, what could go wrong when you’re dressed in blue dungarees embroidered with a little sailboat on the front?
As for the remainder of the royal family’s tour, Prince George — who is third in line for the throne — has a few more exciting engagements coming up. Of the 45 separate events (yes, 45), he will make a trip to the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, where he will have an enclosure named after him. Not too shabby for this little tyke’s first family vacation!
