Kate Upton Covers Vogue, Defends Sexy Curves: “I Can’t Change My Bra Size”
Sorry, Kate Moss, Vogue is going for a curvier Kate now.
Kate Upton first made a splash in Sports Illustrated, but she's all high fashion now. She was on the cover of Italian Vogue, then British Vogue earlier this year, and now she's on the June 2013 cover of U.S. Vogue. As in, Anna Wintour's Vogue.
In Vogue, she addressed the critics who sniff at her success, since she looks more like a pinup than the typical stick-thin fashion models.
"The things that they're rejecting are things that I can't change. I can't change my bra size," Kate said (via NY Daily News). "They're natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can't change some things. I really just live my life. I love my body. It's what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great."
Good for her for being confident in her body, although looking at her — and at the drooling men around her — isn't likely to inspire many women to be confident in their own bodies. Some of us would rather just look like her!
