Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens) gets a lot of flack — both in the press and in the court of public opinion — and it's not always deserved.
Yes, she is known to have a strong personality, to say the least. And yes, she could have handled her Grey's Anatomy exit more gracefully. But some journalists may be having a field day exaggerating her reported diva-like behavior.
Showbiz Spy, for example, says the 35-year-old actress had a meltdown on the set of her new show, NBC's State of Affairs, when her name was misspelled on the door to her dressing room.
"That is not my name!" Katherine supposedly shouted, per the site. "I'm the star, and they can't even get my name right? Are you f—king kidding me?!"
Showbiz Spy says Katherine had her mom — who is an executive producer on the show — find out who made the error and that the assistant director at fault is now looking for new work.
But Gossip Cop is debunking the story, saying said outburst never happened and citing a source "close to the situation."
We're not taking sides except to say that we're still Katherine fans and that we generally assume the best from the actress and animal activist. So we leave the judgment up to you!
What do you believe? Do you think Katherine blew her lid, or is this just rabble-rousing gossip? Sound off below.
