Are Katherine Heigl and Kevin McKidd Playing a Couple in North of Hell? She Says…

We were super excited to find out Grey’s Anatomy stars Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens) and Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt) would be reuniting on screen in the upcoming movie North of Hell. In the film, Katherine plays the wife of...

Not Kevin McKidd!

In response to a fan on Twitter who mentioned how weird it would be to see Izzie and Owen in a relationship, Katherine tweeted, “No, we don't play a couple! @patrickwilson73 plays my husband in the film and he's killing it!”

You might know Patrick from films like Hard Candy and Insidious, but this time around, he will be playing Katherine’s husband — who, according to Deadline, isn’t quite what he seems.

We couldn’t imagine Izzie and Owen together, either — and even though they’d be out of their scrubs and in a totally different world, it would still be kind of strange to see them on screen as a couple. So far, we only know that Kevin plays a drug dealer (and looks nearly unrecognizable in the role!), but his on-screen persona remains to be seen.

Katherine describes the movie as “a dark comedy about a couple who live an exaggerated suburban life that goes to hell when a couple of drug dealers target them.” Eek! So will Kevin be trying to kill Katherine?!

Either way, we can’t wait to see them in their new roles. What about you? Sound off below!
