Katie Holmes Ends Fashion Line Amid “Interpersonal Conflict” With Partner — Report
Open up your morning light, and say a little prayer for... Katie Holmes's fashion line. Sadly, the actress's Holmes & Yang line is coming to an end — and rumor has it that she and her design partner have been at odds.
Katie and longtime stylist Jeanne Yang had co-owned their clothing line for five years but have decided to end the partnership, according to Page Six. Barneys New York is one store that will no longer carry items from the line.
"Katie and Jeanne had a wonderful experience with Holmes & Yang," says the company's rep. "They had planned on ending the line at this time."
However, inside sources claim that "interpersonal conflict" between the two women has driven the partnership apart. "Jeanne enjoys the spotlight way more than Katie does," reports a source. "Things have definitely soured between them."
In the meantime, Katie — who filed for divorce from Tom Cruise in July 2012 — is focusing more on her acting career these days. She recently filmed a role in the upcoming movie The Giver with Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, and Taylor Swift.
Are you surprised that Katie's clothing line has folded (so to speak)?
