Ke$ha Sends A Message To Fans From Rehab: “I’ll Be Back Soon”
It may have only been two weeks since Ke$ha checked into rehab seeking treatment for an eating disorder, but she’s already promising her fans that she’ll good as new before they know it.
On January 21, the “Timber” singer sent a pal to update her Twitter for her, and to give her followers an update on her condition. “This is Kesha’s friend. She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn’t have access to twitter right now,” the tweet, posted from Ke$ha’s account, said. “She says ‘THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I’m overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I’ll be back soon and better than ever.’”
“Ohhh and she can’t believe Timber is still number one!” the friend added. “F—k yeah animals! PARTY ON!!!!”
Ke$ha’s obviously keeping her spirits up during her time at Timberline Knolls, the same rehab facility where Demi Lovato received treatment four years ago while she was struggling with drug abuse, an eating disorder, and self-harm.
The 26-year-old popstar’s mother, Pepe Sebert, entered rehab just days after Ke$ha did for help with post traumatic stress disorder following her daughter’s struggles. Recently, Pebe spoke out on Ke$ha’s battle with body image, blaming producer Dr. Luke and former manager David Sonenberg for self-esteem issues so severe that Ke$ha considered suicide.
We’re glad Ke$ha’s finally getting the help she needs and is able to remain so positive in the meantime. Get better soon!
