Kelly Clarkson Forced Her Husband to Get a Vasectomy After Baby No. 2
Kelly Clarkson is very serious about never experiencing childbirth again.
"I was literally pregnant with [Remington], and I was like, 'You are getting fixed. This will never happen to me again,'" the mom of two told Jenny McCarthy on the blonde's SiriusXM show yesterday, October 7.
It sounds like the 34-year-old was even thinking about her husband’s vasectomy while giving birth to baby Remi, now nearly 6 months old, in April.
"If something happens, it's a miracle of God,” she continued on The Jenny McCarthy Show. “I literally told my OBGYN on the table while open, 'If I get pregnant again, I will find you!'"
It’s no surprise Kelly was done with pregnancy, as hers were extremely difficult. She was even hospitalized while carrying both of her children.
Despite knowing the risks of getting pregnant a second time, her reasoning for welcoming Remi was too sweet.
“I wanted another little buddy [for River Rose, 2],” she said. “I didn't want a kid to just be an odd man out because I felt like that a lot.
“And so I thought, 'OK, we'll just do it again.' [But then] I was like, 'There's no way it can happen again,' but it was worse. Remi's pregnancy was worse than River's."
Well, we hope the adorable R&R duo are fans of each other — because now there’s no chance they’re getting a third little buddy.
