People Are Not Pleased That Kendall Jenner Has Been Named Fashion Icon of the Decade
Kendall Jenner has officially been named The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Icon of the Decade.
As it turns out, the people are not too happy about the crowning!
While Kendall is undoubtedly a style influencer — she has made her mark on the high fashion world and frequently shares her looks with her 83.1 million Instagram followers — the "decade" part seems to be halting some in their tracks.
Ten years ago, Kendall was only 11 years old, and the rise of athleisure probably could not even have been imagined by the collective mind.
Responses to the news on social media have been pretty tongue in cheek.

As one Twitter user pointed out, what about Rihanna...?
Kendall Jenner to receive Fashion Icon of the Decade? Rihanna and Asap Rocky must be from another Decade then https://t.co/OBvmioCPJCc (@chuuzus) August 29, 2017
For one reference (of many):
The Daily Front Row explained the decision to give Kendall the award in a statement to the Huffington Post.
"We’re living in a digital decade and Kendall is the ultimate style influencer," they said.
"[The] digital generation more than ever turns to social media to learn what’s next and Kendall has 83 million devoted Instagram followers, many of whom emulate her style."
"It’s noteworthy that fashion bible Vogue has called her the breakout model of her generation and put her on the cover of their September issue in 2016."
Regardless of popular opinion, Kendall will be given the honor at a ceremony in New York next Friday.
We look forward to seeing the hopefully iconic outfit she chooses for the occasion.
