While Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian all actively chose a life of fame and fortune, it wasn’t exactly Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s decision to grow up in the spotlight.

The two teenagers have had cameras following them around since their elementary school days and while 18-year-old Kendall and 16-year-old Kylie don’t seem to mind the constant attention, they do acknowledge that they’ll never get the normal high school experience their older sisters did.

“They got to live their teen years in a very different way than we did,” Kendall told People. “They lived it normally and then once they were already grown up, they went through what we’re now going through. They even say to us: ‘If I was in your position, I would not be able to handle it.’”

Kendall and Kylie admit that the spotlight can be tiring, but they also try to keep in mind the good things that come with a life of fame and it’s not just expensive cars and designer clothes.

“You just have to come back and realize all of the great things that have come out of it,” Kylie said. “All of the good you can do with having the spotlight on you and just having your family around you.”
