Kendall and Kylie Jenner Earn Six Figures For OPI Deal
Kylie and Kendall Jenner may not be old enough to vote or rent a car, but they’ve each got enough money to keep a small country afloat, thanks to a recent beauty deal that earned the teens some serious cash.
RadarOnline reports that Kylie, 16, and Kendall, 17, earned six-figure paydays for their contributions to the OPI nail polish campaign featuring the Kardashian family, for which the reality stars did little more than show up, pose, and cash in.
The family, including sisters Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian were offered $600,000 plus profits from the sales of the nail polish to promote the brand both in marketing materials and on social media, which the girls split equally, for a total of $125K each, plus the agreed upon “100 of each color of the products for the celebrities to use for personal consumption or giveaway.”
While the girls had no creative control over the branding of the line — and, naturally, mom Kris Jenner took over the business end of things — they still pocketed the same staggering amount of cash as their famous older siblings for a few photos and tweets.
Coupled with the teens’ reported $5,000 per episode paychecks for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, it looks like they won’t have to be asking dad Bruce Jenner for allowance money anytime soon!
