While Kris and Bruce Jenner are continuing to insist that their separation is amicable, claiming their split gives them “the best of both worlds,” their two teenage daughters, Kendall and Kylie, seem to be faring less favorably.
The two girls are expressing their feelings about the separation announcement the best way they know how — by adding a few melancholy tweets to their usual menagerie of selfies, videos, and announcements about what time Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs.
Showing just how not OK she was feeling about things, 17-year-old Kendall borrowed a colorful phrase from her older sister Khloe on the day her parents announced their split, tweeting, “My motto lately…. F—k you.”
Two days later, Kendall seemed to allude to her parents’ explanation for their breakup, telling fans, “We all need our space.”
On Wednesday, 16-year-old Kylie joined in the sadfest, writing, “don’t judge someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes,” adding on Thursday, “Not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you have till the end.”
While other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have spoken to the press about Kris and Bruce’s split, Kylie and Kendall haven’t opened up to any media outlets about the separation, only stopping to give the middle finger to paparazzi on the day their parents made the big announcement.
Luckily, despite their decision to part ways, Bruce and Kris seem to be trying their best to make the adjustment period as easy as possible for their kids, although it doesn’t seem to be helping the news go down any easier for their teenage daughters.
How do you think Kendall and Kylie are handling the news?
