Kenya Moore Announces New Diet: I Want to Drop Five Pounds in a Week!
Kenya Moore’s Miss USA days may be a thing of the past, but girlfriend still strives to be in tip-top shape, Stallion Booty and all. After all, Kenya is still very much in the public eye thanks to her gig on Real Housewives of Atlanta, and given that the Bravo hit started shooting its seventh season earlier this week, we can’t say we’re all that surprised by the timing of Kenya’s latest diet.
On July 4, the captain of Team Twirl tweeted, “GM tweeties! Have a wonderful 4th of July! I'll be sharing my diet and exercise secrets tomorrow. Going to drop 5 lbs in one week.” In patriotic fashion Kenya seems to have started her diet after America’s birthday — just look at that plate of desserts! — but she’s serious about dropping some poundage nonetheless.
By July 8 Kenya had extended her challenge to herself. “10lbs in 2 weeks. Detox lunch #healthy grilled salmon and raw spinach salad,” she captioned an Instagram photo of the aforementioned food items. And she was hardly done just yet.
That same day, July 8, Kenya indicated to us that she was very serious about shedding some unwanted weight, tweeting out the details of yet another healthy meal as well as some helpful pro-tips. “Ok #teamtwirl doing blackened tilapia and spicy collards for dinner. Don't eat 3 hours before bed. Drink full glass of water with lemon,” she advised. Kenya may have poked fun at Kandi Burruss’ weight in the past, but Ms. Moore is a wealth of advice these days!
If you ask us, Kenya is beautiful at any size, but if dropping a few pounds helps her feel more comfortable in front of the Bravo cameras, than who are we to stop her!
