The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has made her New Years resolution a few days early, and it’s a big one! The reality star recently opened up to Life & Style about her ambitious plans for 2014, declaring to the mag that a baby is in her future — no matter what.
“I plan on having a baby next year,” the 42-year-old former Miss USA states. “Within the next six months, I hope to be pregnant.”
Kenya, who has been dating a mysterious billionaire businessman for several months, says she doesn’t even need a man by her side. If her current beau isn’t ready for a baby, Kenya revealed that she will absolutely use in vitro fertilization to get pregnant. “I just have to figure out whose sperm to use!”
Among the contenders? Miss Lawrence of course! Miss Lawrence has been a hairstylist and fixture on RHoA for many years, and we know she is very close to Ms. Moore. Kenya’s desire to have a child is no secret to RHoA viewers who watched her have an emotional conversation with her Aunt Lori about motherhood earlier this season, during which she declared having a baby was more important to her than getting married.
Still, Kenya hasn’t counted out having a child with her current boyfriend just yet, but it sounds like the couple still has much discuss before taking this next big step. Though Kenya describes her billionaire boo as “smart, kind, generous, respectful, and driven” she’s not entirely sure he’s ready for a child. If he doesn’t want a baby in 2014, Kenya is fully prepared to go it alone. “I wouldn't mind having a modern family,” she concludes.
