Kenya Moore Addresses Pregnancy Rumors After Undergoing IVF in Barbados (UPDATE)
UPDATE (12/5/17 at 10:20 a.m.):
Is Kenya Moore finally getting the baby she's always wanted?
The RHOA peach has been very open about how badly she wants to be a mom, and is addressing the latest round of rumors that she is finally pregnant.
Unfortunately the Queen of Twirl isn't expecting yet, but is doing everything in her power to get pregnant with her new husband, Marc Daly.
"Well, you know, right now we're managing two households, so a lot of people do it, have multiple residences, so that's what we're doing right now," she told Bravo'sThe Daily Dish about whether she'll stay in the ATL or move to New York to be closer to her husband.
"But I think it just depends on [what] the next nine months might look like and what kind of room we'll need and where we'll be in terms of that. So we're figuring it out, but it just depends on where our family, the number in our family, will be in the future."
Did she say nine months?!
Kenya didn't address the rumors she is undergoing IVF treatments at a fertility center in Barbados, but keep clicking for more on that story!
Original story (11/17/17 at 9:46 a.m.):
Kenya Moore is super private about her marriage, but she isn't shy when it comes to discussing her plans for a family.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been vocal for years about wanting to become a mother, and now, she's actually doing something about it by undergoing IVF treatment to get pregnant.
The queen of twirl and her entrepenuer husband, Marc Daly, got married in a secret ceremony in St. Lucia in June — not even the Bravo cameras, nor most of Kenya's castmates, knew about the wedding (or that she even had a boyfriend!) at the time.
The 47-year-old eventually revealed her groom's identity, but has opted to keep her husband off the show to maintain a level of privacy — and not become another Real Housewives divorce statistic.
Now, the newlyweds are ready to take things to the next level, as she's been spotted in Barbados at a renowned fertility clinic.
TMZ's sources confirmed the couple is trying for a baby.
Marc will meet his wife in the Caribbean this weekend, and Kenya could stay there for weeks, as the IVF process is a long and harrowing one.
Though sources insist Bravo cameras won't be on hand to film the appointments, the haircare entrepenuer reportedly wants to discuss the IVF process at the RHOA Season 10 reunion, which films early next year.
Other sites say Kenya is merely getting pregnant to keep her storyline relevant on the show and secure her peach for Season 11, but there's hard proof that's not the case.
The Atlanta gal has talked at length at how badly she wants a child of her own both on-screen and off, even joking last year that her pregnancy was "going to happen" sooner than later.
And though she at one point was going to undergo IVF with then-boyfriend Matt Jordan, she hasn't given up on her dream of becoming a mom now that she's married to Marc.
“I can’t tell you it will be in the next month, or six months, but it will happen," she told Entertainment Tonight last fall of her pregnancy plans.
“I’m actually really just scared to go through the process. Being the age that I am, failure you know, there’s a high probability of miscarriages... [Plus], sharing it with the world, opening yourself up and being vulnerable to something that means everything to me, it’s scary.”
We look forward to seeing Kenya discuss her pregnancy journey on the show — whether it's this season or next — and wish her and Marc the best of luck on their conception journey!
