Sports gossip site TerezOwens.com first reported their nuptials yesterday, and they have been dating since Summer 2012 — also in secret. According to the marriage certificate (obtained by E!), they wed on June 24, 2013 in Hailey, Idaho, which is definitely a remote enough location to keep cameras away. However, given that no one even knew they were together until today, they probably didn't need to hide out from paparazzi. Kerry's parents were witnesses and there a minister officiated, so we're guessing this was a no-frills, quickie ceremony.
This is Kerry's first marriage, though the 36-year-old was engaged to Newsies' David Moscow from 2004 to 2007. She has kept her private life very hidden, especially since starring in Scandal and Django Unchained, and we're sure the same will go for her marriage to Nnarndi. Though the 31-year-old is known for being a footballer, he also guest-starred on Friday Night Lights, The Game, and the Kroll Show, and is clearly no stranger to the acting world.
While we think these two did a great job at keeping their relationship a secret, maybe we should have questioned why she was taking a few weeks off of Twitter. On Tuesday, she wrote, "Ok. Logging off! See u in a few weeks! SO excited 4 all u UK #Gladiators about 2 experience Season 2! Spread the word! July 4th @More4Tweets" and we thought she was just taking a cue from Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes, who recently took a social media hiatus. We thought wrong — girl must just be taking time for a leisurely, romantic honeymoon.
