If you've been waiting to see new mom Kerry Washington in action, it's time to mark your calendar for Sunday, June 29. The Scandal star will be making her first post-baby TV apperance live at the BET awards, Us Weekly reports.

Kerry gave birth to her first baby, a girl named Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, back in April. That star and her hubby, former NFL cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, are notoriously private about their personal lives, so it's not a shock that they've spent the last few months staying low-key and focusing on their newborn.

Still, Kerry is a big star on the rise, so of course she can't stay out of the spotlight forever. Us Weekly reports that she will be attending the BET Awards, which air at 8 p.m. ET and are hosted by Chris Rock. Kerry is nominated for Best Actress at the awards, along with Lupita Nyong'o, Oprah Winfrey, Angela Bassett, and Gabrielle Union. Seems like a good reason to make a post-baby debut!

While we don't know much about Kerry's appearance yet, we think it's safe to say that the always fashionable star will look great. We can't wait!

Tune in to the BET awards at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, June 29 on BET to see Kerry's post-baby debut.
