Keyshawn Johnson Denies Mold Cover-Up Before Selling Home to Kourtney Kardashian

It looks like Kourtney Kardashian’s dream home is turning into quite the nightmare.

The pregnant Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who recently purchased an $8.5 million Calabasas mansion from football legend Keyshawn Johnson, is enraged after discovering the home is full of dangerous black mold.

However, despite her assertion that the mold was covered up with new paint prior to the sale, Keyshawn denies that he had anything to do with the situation.

Insiders reveal that the football legend says he had no evidence of mold in the home before selling it to Kourtney, and that any damage to the house likely occurred between when he moved out and Kourtney and her family moved in.

In a statement issued to TMZ by Keyshawn’s lawyer, the NFL star says, “There was no water damage to the house I sold to Ms. Kardashian. It is a new home that I built less than 10 years ago. It never had any water or mold problems. Prior to sale, the house was thoroughly inspected by excellent, experienced inspectors that they hired. I don't know what has transpired since they moved into the house but I wish them well."

While Kourtney and her family may be taking some comfort in the fact that the mold was not covered up in malice, she’s still taking precautions by temporarily holing up at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills.

Do you think Keyshawn is telling the truth about the alleged mold cover-up?
