Khloe Kardashian to Host Talk Show Called “Kocktails With Khloe”
It may have been awhile since Khloe Kardashian’s last hosting gig — never forget The X Factor, of course — but now, she’s coming back for another show: her own. Khloe is getting a talk show, and from what we’ve found out about it so far, it sounds amazing.
Khloe recently tweeted the news about her upcoming series and how excited she is — and we totally don’t blame her!
According to Deadline, Khloe will be hosting a primetime talk show on the FYI network called Kocktails with Khloe, which is basically an hour-long show of which the network has already ordered eight episodes.
Khloe will be chatting it up with celebrities and friends as they hang out in the “kitchen and around the table for an intimate dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and outrageously fun party games.” According to a press release, the unique set is "designed to replicate a true, intimate home environment; as such, it will feature a functional kitchen, dining area and living spaces – but will not include a studio audience."
There will also be a bartender on hand a la' Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, and the network is still looking for a quirky, funny personality to cast in that role.
“I’m lucky that I’ve been able to invite fans into my life and home on a weekly basis and this show will give me an opportunity to continue to do that with new and exciting guests."
“Being an executive producer allows me the opportunity to create original content," Khloe continued in a statement. "I can’t wait to show my fans what we have in store on Kocktails with Khloe.”
Though Kocktails was originally supposed to premiere in early December, it's been pushed to January, most likely so Khloe can take more time to focus on husband Lamar Odom while he recovers from his reported overdose.
Kocktails Will Khloe premieres Wednesday, January 20 at 10 p.m. ET on FYI.
