Khloe Kardashian’s recent weight loss has not only made the newly-single star more confident than ever, it’s also inspired her family members to get serious about their fitness goals.
Kourtney Kardashian is now looking to Khloe to help her shed the last few pounds she’s been holding onto since the birth of daughter Penelope in 2012.
Kourtney, whose boyfriend, Scott Disick, has been vocal about his preference for her super-skinny body, is on a quest to whittle 10 to 15 pounds off her 5-foot body, bringing her back down to just over 100 pounds.
A source close to the Kardashians says that, despite the looks-based competition that has colored the sisters’ relationship in the past, Khloe’s thrilled to lend a hand to her big sister.
“Khloé loves that Kourtney is asking for her help,” an insider reveals to Life & Style.
“Kourtney used to be so obsessed with her body, but now Khloé’s in better shape,” adds the source. “She sees how much Khloé has lost and has used that as motivation to help her.”
It looks like Khloe’s influence is already paying off — the girls have been spending plenty of time together focusing on their fitness as of late, from a day of fun with the whole family on their backyard trampoline to their recent foray into aerial aerobics.
