Khloe Kardashian recently revealed that she’s spending 2014 trying not to sweat the small stuff, so perhaps that’s why she’s being calm as a cucumber about her parents’ recent separation.
While a parental split can be hard on a person of any age, it seems as though Khloe is happy to see Kris and Bruce Jenner’s relationship grow stronger, despite putting their relationship on hold.
HollywoodLife reports that, despite Bruce’s new living accommodations in Malibu, Khloe isn’t feeling abandoned by her “second father” in her time of need.
“Bruce wanted to leave and do his own thing,” a Kardashian insider reveals. ”[Bruce wants to] be secluded — that’s his decision. and Khloe loves it. Nobody abandoned anybody.”
Bruce, who has long been a source of support in the lives of Kris’ kids from her marriage to Robert Kardashian, may actually be doing more to help Khloe now that he has some distance from his famous family.
Even Khloe’s estranged husband, Lamar Odom, credits Bruce for helping him get his personal life and career back on track after his alleged battle with drug addiction.
Lamar, who recently signed a short-term contract with Spanish basketball team Laboral Kuxta, revealed of the inspiration behind his decision to start working again, “Bruce is one of the reasons why I am going to do this.”
