Khloe Kardashian has remained surprisingly tight-lipped throughout the recent tumultuous period in her marriage to Lamar Odom, but on Sunday night’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the reality star finally let her walls come down.

Lamar had been conspicuously MIA from the show for a while prior to the show’s Sunday season finale. The family had only obliquely addressed the NBA star’s alleged issues with drugs and infidelity on the show.

However, on Sunday’s show, Khloe finally revealed that the stress of Lamar’s personal issues was taking more of a toll on her marriage than she was able to handle.

“As many times as I have protected Lamar, or dodged a bullet for him, lately, everything is getting [to be] more than I can protect or control,” she admitted. “I’m getting bombarded with questions and I don’t know what to say.”

Equally frustrated by Lamar’s behavior, younger brother Rob, who had been one of the basketball player’s closest friends, took Khloe to a private lunch to reveal that he was moving out of the couple’s home to distance himself from Lamar’s troubles. “It’s worse than that because he’s really hurting you,” Rob told Khloe, explaining that even if she could help her husband, “It’s not even a win situation for anybody.”

While Khloe never openly admitted that Lamar had been unfaithful, her words spoke volumes.

“A lot has been going on the past couple years, just with me and Lamar and I’ve made that choice myself to just keep that within my marriage, but lately it’s been getting bigger than me,” Khloe revealed. “Sometimes, things are bigger than yourself. I don’t have a plan. I don’t know what the next step is.”
