How's this for history repeating itself?
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom paid about $3.95 million for their 8,000-square foot mansion in 2009, not long after the TV and sports star married in a whirlwind wedding after a very short dating stint.
Fast forward to 2014 and the divorcing couple just sold the Tarzana, California home, TMZ reports, for $5.49 million. Who bought the spread? Sources say it was The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting, who — you got it — just married in a whirlwind wedding after the TV and sports star enjoyed a very short dating stint.
Let's hope this story has a happier ending. (In the meantime, maybe Khloe can have a really brief fling with Superman Henry Cavill? That might take the edge off.)
If Kaley and Ryan truly did pony up almost $5.5M for this mansion, maybe it's a sign that they're hoping for a big family. The place is huge. There are seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a theater, a pool, a spa, and an outdoor kitchen. The home has been featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Khloe & Lamar, so ... maybe Kaley just wants a piece of that reality TV history.
But now, TMZ says, Khloe is looking for a new home near her mom Kris Jenner in Hidden Hills. According to Us Weekly (via Daily Mail), she already found a place — and it’s close to Matt Kemp too.
Everybody’s moving on! Still, it has to be bittersweet to say goodbye to that Tarzana home. All those happy memories from the early days...
