Being robbed may be one of the most painful and terrifying experiences a person can go through, but for Khloe Kardashian, the loss of personal property and the feeling of security is just the tip of the iceberg.
Khloe’s home was ransacked by burglars, who made off with $250,000 worth of the reality star’s possessions, and now everyone in the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s life is a suspect. The Tarzana home, which was recently sold to Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco, had been more or less empty as Khloe moves into her new place without hubby Lamar Odom, and very few people had access to the home since it went on the market.
TMZ reports that Khloe’s concerned a member of her inner circle may be involved in the robbery, since the home is relatively secure. In addition to the usual security systems and locks, Khloe’s pad is in a gated community, and there were no signs of forced entry into the building.
That leaves those who have already gained Khloe’s trust (and, perhaps, a copy of her key) in the hot seat — from members of the KUWTK crew to her movers.
A source close to the star tells HollywoodLife.com that, despite Khloe’s pain over the loss, she’s intent on playing Nancy Drew until she figures who did it.
“Khloe’s on the case and she’s better than a P.I.,” says the pal. “She sent a P.I. on Lamar and did her own undercover work and covert operations to find him when he didn’t want to be found. This jewelry stuff? Please, this won’t be a problem for Khloe. You don’t steal and you damn sure don’t steal from a woman like Khloe.”
