Pretty much the minute Khloe Kardashian started stepping out with French Montana, fans expressed concern that the up-and-coming rapper might be exploiting Khloe’s fame to build on his own. Well, Khlo Money’s got news for you guys: she knows and couldn’t care less.
At least that’s what she seems to be saying in a recent tweet. Just a day after Billboard magazine published an interview with French wherein he essentially admits he’s capitalizing on Khloe’s fame, the reality star writes, “It's amusing to me that Y'all think I don't see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don't care.”
Now, there’s no telling for certain that Khloe’s vague-tweeting about French’s recent bombshell, but the timing seems right. When asked by Billboard how he feels about the extra attention he’s getting now that he’s romantically linked to a Kardashian, French responded, "I want to capitalize on it," adding, "I’ll get a fan base from everywhere.”
In all fairness to French, his comment could have been taken out of context. Maybe he’s simply saying he’s decided to make lemonade out of the lemons otherwise known as the paparazzi. But we definitely don’t blame Khloe’s fans for being suspicious of French’s intentions.
That said, if we’re reading her Twitter correctly, she doesn’t seem to share their concern.
What do you think — is French just using Khloe for fame, or were his comments taken out of context?
