Often cited as the wittiest and most outspoken Kardashian sister, Khloé is known for telling it like it is. Also the tallest Kardashian (by about 8 inches), Khloé makes no secret of her body image issues, and has even described herself as "fat" to reporters. (At 5-foot-10 and 145 pounds, she is not
fat — according to the Department of Health and Human Services.) Khloé is the youngest daughter of Kris Jenner
(wife of Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner) and late O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian.
Like her older sisters, Khloé is a Renaissance woman: She is co-owner of DASH boutiques in L.A., New York, and Miami and co-creator of the sunless tanning product Kardashian Glamour Tan. She, Kim
, and Kourtney
released a line of clothing for Bebe in the Spring of 2010; another clothing line, K-Dash, which is being sold on QVC; and an Armenian-inspired jewelry line for Virgins, Angels, and Saints. If you want the inside scoop on her sprawling family and rise to fame, pick up a copy of Kardashian Konfidential
, the sisters' joint memoir. Beyond these family business ventures, she's a spokesperson for Kotex tampons and PETA supporter — she appeared in their "Get Naked" ad campaign, which was hilariously documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians
Khloé is no stranger to scandal. In 2008, she spent time — a whopping 173 minutes — behind bars for violating her DUI probation by missing road cleanup duties. Why such a short stint? She revealed to Ryan Seacrest that her imprisonment was creating havoc, and people were calling in bomb threats. "They released me early because I was a threat to the prison," she dished. "The whole prison was on lockdown. It was actually really scary."
As a kid, she also got into her share of trouble. The target of ridicule because of her weight, Khloé forged the necessary paperwork to drop out of swanky Marymount High (where sisters Kim and Kourtney also went). She eventually enrolled in home school and graduated at age 17.
Khloé married L.A. Lakers forward Lamar Odom on September 27, 2009.
