After all that talk about how she wasn’t going to film the birth of her baby, Kim Kardashian did allow a camera into the delivery room after all!
Don’t get your hopes up, reality lovers, because we won’t be getting our grubby little eyeballs on footage of Kimye being born any time soon.
“Kim’s momager, Kris, who was in the delivery room, filmed portions of it for family viewing only,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Kanye told Kris when she could film.”
Good man, Kanye! We’re sure Kris only wanted to capture a special family moment, but she’s so used to cameras being around that it’s probably good that someone was keeping her under control. Kim’s protective boyfriend apparently also had to lay down the law on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians camera crew, to keep them out of the delivery room.
The crew tried to follow Kim into the delivery room, which sounds super creepy but really, can you blame them? They’d reportedly been with Kim all week filming the eighth season of KUWTK, and went with her to the doctor when she started having very strong early labor pains the night before giving birth.
“Kim was extremely upset because she wasn’t due for another month,” the source told Radar. “She was in pain and didn’t know what was happening. Kim was taken to Cedars, and cameras followed her there.”
The crew kept rolling through all of this pre-delivery drama, but Kanye but his foot down when it came to filming at the hospital.
So Kris’s film really is the only footage out there of Kim Kardashian giving birth! We’re counting the seconds until a rumor hits saying Kris intends to sell it for some insane amount of money, but to us childless folks, that only sounds marginally crazier than wanting to watch a video of yourself giving birth. And that's all we can say about that.
