Kim Kardashian Cancels Her First Post-Baby Appearance
Fans who have been waiting with bated breath for the official return of Kim Kardashian to a red carpet or photo shoot have been sorely disappointed for nearly three months since the new mom traded in her former life for some private time with baby daughter North West.
It seemed as though things might be getting back to normal with with a scheduled appearance at the premiere of Mademoiselle C, the Fabien Constant-directed documentary about the life of former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief and current CR Fashion Book head Carine Roitfeld, but perhaps it was all too much, too soon for the reality star.
Cambio reports that Kim backed out of the event at the last minute, a particularly nasty slight to Carine, who had Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld shoot a very pregnant Kim in a number of dramatic looks for CR’s most recent cover.
While Kim has been snapped by paparazzi a few times since giving birth, it seems she may not feel comfortable squeezing back into couture just yet, despite having lost a remarkable number of her pregnancy pounds in the two and a half months since giving birth.
However, with Kanye West announcing his tour dates today, the Jenners spending their days in Malibu, and her sisters Kourtney and Khloe dealing with their own family drama, Kim might soon tire of spending her days indoors with only infant company.
We know we can't wait for her big reveal!
Do you think it will hurt Kim's career to be out of the spotlight for so long?
