Kim Kardashian wants her haters to get one thing clear: you don’t mess with her family.
During a trip to the NBC Upfronts in New York on Thursday, Kim reportedly asked to have comedian Joan Rivers seated as far away from her as possible, following a number of insults dished out by the Fashion Police host over the years.
Kim, who attended the event with sister Khloe, was reportedly upset over Joan’s presence at the event, and, rather than get into a confrontation with the 80-year-old jokester, she decided to keep her distance.
"Kim and Khloe both don't want drama and can't fake it anymore with Joan, so they asked the staff to keep them separate,” a source revealed to Us Weekly.
While Kim is certainly no stranger to criticism from her peers in the entertainment industry, it was reportedly Joan’s jabs at Kim’s 11-month-old daughter, North West, that had Kimmy incensed.
Earlier this year, Joan said of Kimye’s bundle of joy, “That baby is ugly… I’ve never seen a six-month-old so desperately in need of a waxing.”
Considering Joan’s tasteless joke about adorable North, we’re surprised that requesting a table swap was all Kim did to her!
Is Kim being too sensitive about Joan’s jokes, or is she doing the right thing by standing up for her family?
