Kim Kardashian: Kendall Jenner Doesn’t Use Her Fame to Get Modeling Jobs

Kendall Jenner has been taking the fashion world by storm, from print work to Parisian runways, but according to her family members, she’s not relying on her family name to boost her career.

Kendall’s big sisters, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, opened up to to E! Online about the 18-year-old model’s soaring career, and how she’s trying to make a name for herself in the fashion world without banking on her family’s notoriety.

"She just goes by the name of Kendall," Kim says, of how Kendall is known in the modeling world, adding that the young star doesn’t mention her last name to avoid favoritism among designers.

While that’s a nice story and all, it seems unlikely that there are many places aside from the underside of a rock where people wouldn’t recognize Kendall, but at least her work ethic is shining through the potentially nepotistic industry in which she works.

"She works her butt off,” says Kim. “She just goes to casting after casting. I'm so proud of her … She's living her dream and it's so inspiring to watch her."

While Kendall’s big sisters may be excited for her success, they made it clear that they wouldn’t mind if she collaborated with the rest of the family on their fashion projects.

When asked if Kendall would be a shoo-in to walk in any future fashion shows for DASH, Khloe joked, “[Kendall] would do anything for us. My brother just asked her to do something, and she's so cute. She has no idea what's going on around her — she's just so excited."

Do you believe that Kendall's fame is irrelevant when she goes to casting calls?
