After Kim Kardashian’s ex and all-around class act Ray J released his super-subtle song, “I Hit It First,” we all had questions. First and foremost, we questioned when Ray J would finally admit that the single was totally written about his relationship with Kim.
But after the song’s even-less-subtle music video came out, featuring a Kim lookalike and including scenes suspiciously reminiscent of the infamous 2007 sex tape Kim and Ray J made together, talk show host Wendy Williams had the best question of all: Does Ray J still own a copy of their sex tape?!
Lucky for Wendy, Ray J isn’t any cagier than his recent musical output.
“Nah, I don’t,” he said. ”I’m no longer an owner.”
Glad to hear it, Ray J! After all, he and Kim split years ago, and she’s happily with Kanye West and about to have his baby, so moving on is probably best for everyone.
Then again, Ray J also spent a great deal of time insisting that “I Hit It First” wasn’t dissing Kim, in spite of the lyrics, “I had her head going North and her ass going South, But now baby chose to go West.”
So, anything he says gets a very very unhealthy dose of salt, as far as we’re concerned. And as far as we’re concerned, he’s totally the type to revisit one of his most famous moments as much as possible. What do you think, does Ray J have a copy of his sex tape sitting around, or is he telling Wendy the truth?
