Kim Kardashian’s father, Robert Kardashian, may have passed away in 2003, but the fight over his will and legacy is still raging on over a decade later, thanks to the acrimonious battle between his children and his widow, Ellen Kardashian.
Kim and her family, who have been to court countless times to keep Ellen from selling information about the family to the press, revealed heartbreaking information to lawyers about how she and her siblings were prevented from seeing their father in his final days.
While Ellen Kardashian has claimed in the past that Robert’s kids were more concerned with partying than spending time at their ailing father’s bedside, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told a very different story.
“She changed the locks on the doors when my dad was sick and told us to not come visit our dad, not come see him,” Kim told a team of lawyers.
“We’re like, ‘That’s our dad, he is dying, we will come over there’ … We got in there and we took a key. And we had to, like, force our way in the house.”
While the battle between the Kardashians and their ex-stepmom shows no signs of slowing down, it may get something close to a resolution soon. As RadarOnline.com, the former family members will appear in court on May 5 to find out if Ellen will have to pay $300,000 for the Kardashian’s legal fees.
