While she’s already lost nearly all of the weight she put on while pregnant with baby North West since the baby’s June birth, Kim Kardashian is determined to slim down even further with an ultra-restrictive diet plan.
The new mom has been flaunting a slender shape in recent weeks, but following some slowed-down weight-loss efforts in the latter part of the summer, the perfectionist star is hoping to lose lots of weight quickly with a zero carb diet plan, according to Us Weekly.
"In August, Kim got frustrated because she hit a plateau, even though she was eating mostly proteins and veggies," said a Kardashian insider.
"She's working out here and there, but it's mainly about the food, Atkins-style.”
While Kim’s past weight fluctuations and wild diets may have earned constant media attention in the past, her trainer, Tracy Anderson, claims that, as a new mom, Kim has used her intuition, rather than her waistline, to guide her choices regarding food and exercise.
“Kim is taking as much time as she wants to just be with the baby," Tracy revealed of Kim’s approach to post-baby weight loss. "She's not even concerned with working out. Kim is amazing as a mom, she's so connected. I knew when I was training her she would be a great mom. She was concerned with all the right things."
