Kim Kardashian has always endured a ton of scrutiny of her body — good or bad — but the attention reached a fever pitch during her pregnancy with Baby North. Almost as soon as she gave birth, people began to ask, “how will she lose all the baby weight?” Well, Kim has finally revealed how she regained her curvy physique.
Rather than the generic answers of “diet and exercise” or the far more annoying “with breastfeeding, the pounds just melted off,” Kim revealed that she followed a fairly restrictive diet. “I've actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it,” Kim tweeted in response to a fan’s question about the secret to her weight loss success.
The low carb, high protein diet plan was highly popular in the early 2000s, but it’s sure to see a resurgence with a spokeswoman like Kim. While sources close to the reality star say post-labor weight loss has been an uphill climb for Kim, she was looking pretty amazing during her romantic Paris getaway with baby daddy Kanye West.
The Atkins diet has been criticized in the past for not being very heart healthy (the foods people typically consume while on it are often high in fat and cholesterol). That said, we’re sure Kim has a team of doctors, nutritionists, and personal trainers making sure she stays healthy.
