It looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are going to be waiting a long, long time for their Bel Air mansion’s renovations to be complete. At least that’s the indication from recent pics. The once gorgeous Spanish-inspired hacienda, purchased for $11 million in February 2013, looks like a skeleton of its former self in pics taken this week.

Stripped from top to bottom on the exterior, it looks like Kim and Kanye are throwing out everything including the kitchen sink (and the windows, and the doors, and... you get the idea). We can’t say we’re totally shocked. These are two folks with pretty specific ideas of what they want, aesthetically speaking.

In fact, the most surprising part is that they bought a pre-existing home in the first place, given how much they seem to want to change the property and the cost of doing so. Why didn’t Kimye didn’t just buy an empty plot of land and build a new home from the foundation up if they planned to change so much? Word is they’re even renovating the pool area, which looks to be cordoned off with yellow caution tape.

Well, that might just be what they plan to do — albeit not with this property. The two were spotted eyeing a plot of land in Santa Barbara last month that would be a prime location for a nice pile of bricks worthy of Kim and Kanye. While at first we speculated the plot might be a potential wedding site for the soon-to-be-wed couple, it could just as easily be the case that one home isn’t enough to house the contents of these two’s massive egos wardrobes.
