Dum-dum-duh-dum! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding is so soon, at least if Us Weekly’s sources are correct. The couple, who were originally aiming for a June wedding before moving the date up a month, will reportedly wed near Paris on May 24. Why that date? As you might expect, it wasn’t a random choice.
According to astronomers’ calculations, that date will bring with it a comet that will burst through Earth’s atmosphere and create a huge meteor shower (up to 200 per hour under ideal conditions) in the sky above the couple as they exchange their vows. Très romantique, n'est-ce pas?
Despite the epic nature of that visual, Kim says the affair is going to be “smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking.”
Okay, maybe so, Kim, but we also get the impression that “small and intimate” means something different to you two than it does to other folks. After all, 500 people were in attendance at Kim’s wedding to Kris Humphries, and Kanye’s the guy who proposed to his fiancée in a stadium, in front of her family, their closest friends, and the entire Keeping Up With the Kardashians camera crew.
What do you think of Kim and Kanye’s celestial wedding plans?
