If you were hoping you could avoid a huge media blitz when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West tie the knot later this year, we have some sad news for you.

The couple, whose entire love affair has been the stuff of TV and tabloid magic thus far, from the early days when Kanye was romantically throwing out the items of Kim’s clothing he found objectionable on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, to his over-the-top proposal at San Francisco’s AT&T Park, also captured by the KUWTK cameras.

It should come as no surprise then, that Kim and Kanye’s wedding will be a huge television event — but it won’t be a part of KUWTK.

A source for HollywoodLife reports that, instead, Kim and Kanye will tie the knot in a two-part special on E!, because who doesn’t want to watch hours and hours of Kim getting married again?

“E! plans on airing Kim and Kanye’s wedding as a two-part special,” reveals a Kardashian insider. “The event is way too important to only broadcast on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

The show’s cameras have filmed Kourtney literally pulling a child out from her nether-regions, but they’ve finally found an event that’s too special for KUWTK? Well, this ought to be good.

Do you think Kim and Kanye should televise their wedding?
