When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West first announced their engagement with an over-the-top proposal and celebration at San Francisco’s AT&T Park, it was clear that the reality star and her future hubby would likely have a wedding fit for royalty, but even die-hard fans of the Kardashians couldn’t anticipate just how big their big day would get.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and her rapper fiance, who were originally planning to tie the knot in Paris next month, will reportedly try to top her last wedding by hosting three lavish ceremonies to celebrate their love.
RadarOnline.com reports that Kim and Kanye are planning on making their union official in the U.S. and following up the business end of their happily ever after with two parties in Paris — events that will likely be as romantic for the couple as they are annoying for their guests.
“Just to make sure it’s legal, Kim and Kanye will first be having a civil ceremony in Southern California,” reveals a source close to the couple.
Following the paperwork part of their union, the couple will fly to France, where they’ll have two ceremonies — a religious one and a civil one — as dictated by French law.
While Kim reportedly already has three dresses picked out for the ceremony that will be filmed by KUWTK cameras, the fact that neither Kim nor Kanye lives in France full-time may be an issue when it comes time to say “I do.”
Even if France won’t legally recognize their marriage, the rest of the world will be forced to once Kimye’s two-part wedding special hits the air.
