Kim Kardashian may have built her career on overexposure and tabloid hype, but the reality queen is finally standing up to the media bullies who are trying to bring her down.

After a recent In Touch cover ran photos of a Spanx-clad woman struggling to get into a wedding dress next to a photo of a weeping Kim, along with the headlines, “Inside Kim’s wedding from hell,” and “Panic! Her dress didn’t fit,” Kim decided to flip the script and reveal the deceptive practices tabloid vultures have been using to sell stories about her.

In a post on her Celebuzz blog, titled “Not What it Seems,” Kim slams the magazine’s deceptive practices, indicating that, on the cover, the magazine lists the photo of the woman in the too-tight gown as a “photo recreation.”

It’s pretty unbelievable what people will do to sell a magazine,” laments Kim. “This picture says in really small print that it’s a ‘Photo Recreation.’  It’s not a real photo of me, but they’re implying that it is… Super lame!!”

While this may seem like a grimy business practice, there’s been plenty of speculation that even Kim’s selfies aren’t the real deal — pot calling the kettle Photoshopped, much?

Do you think Kim did the right thing by standing up for herself?
