Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may have had a fairytale wedding, but a major wardrobe mishap nearly had their big day ending in disaster.

Kim, who wore a gorgeous, form-fitting Givenchy lace dress with an elaborate train, designed for her by Kanye’s close pal, Riccardo Tisci, may not have given quite enough thought to how she would move in the skintight number, causing her gorgeous gown to tear just moments before she walked down the aisle.

In Touch reports that Kim had a temporary, and totally understandable, freak-out when she realized the dress was ripped, insisting that it be fixed before she and Kanye exchanged vows.

“[Kim] literally was screaming bloody murder,” reveals a Kardashian insider. “She said ‘OMG, my dress is torn.’”

A ripped dress might have derailed the celebration for most brides, but, thanks to Kim’s on-hand team of fixers, she was sewn back into the $500,000 gown just minutes later.

While the photos of the wedding showed no signs of the behind-the-scenes drama, Kim’s dress may have been the least of her worries on the big day. Not only did Kanye’s pals Jay Z and Beyoncé skip out on the celebration, opting to spend the weekend relaxing in the Hamptons instead, Kim’s own brother, Rob,  bailed on the wedding at the last minute after a family feud got out of hand.
