Kim Kardashian is reportedly on a house hunt that's "all about privacy" — and what better place to avoid people than the most populous city in the United States?
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Kim has been hunting for New York City properties worth up to $18 million. She's not alone, though. She's on the hunt with her mom Kris Jenner, sister Kendall Jenner, and their reality TV crew, which must feel like family by now.
A Post reporter said the hunt is focused on finding a place that's secure and private. On Friday (June 27), Kim is said to have checked out a $17.25 million townhouse in Greenwich Village. It has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a private parking inside the building. And, as a spy added, "You never have to see anyone — not a neighbor or doorman or any other human being. You can go from your car with black tinted windows to the elevator, which opens into your home."
The old urban hermit trick! Kim & Kompany also looked at a nearly $13 million penthouse with a private pool and a 1,500-square-foot landscaped terrace, Page Six added.
E! jumped in to say Kim's group also saw "a $21,000,000 apartment that was put on the market by Ivanka Trump and her architect husband Jared Kushner in the Puck Building, situated on Lafayette Street in SoHo." So $21M isn't too high at this point.
Kim's hubby, Kanye West, already has a NYC pad but they are reportedly looking for a space for both of them and their daughter, North West. Why? Another source said they are planning to spend more time in NYC. So they want to move to The Big Apple but they want their bite of it to be ultra-exclusive, ala the gated communities they enjoy in the sprawl of L.A.
But that just means New York may enjoy more Kim-on-the-street pics like these. Good news?
