Kim Kardashian Attends the USC Shoah Foundation 20th Anniversary Gala on May 7, 2014
We only have a few more weeks before Kim Kardashian makes her walk down the aisle, but it looks like she’s already getting prepared — at least when it comes to the fashion! The 33-year-old star turned heads in a bridal-inspired outfit at the USC Shoah Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Gala in honor of the survivors of the 1915 Armenian genocide.
Kim walked the red carpet outside the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in a white Balmain blazer and Alexander McQueen skirt. She paired the look with a ruffled, high-neck blouse and simple diamond earrings, then pulled it all together with a tight, low pony.
As an Armenian herself, the event was especially meaningful for Kim. In April of last year, she took to her blog to explain how proud she is of her heritage and how important it is to remember those that were lost.
"It is so important for me to honor the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who were killed in the 1915 Armenian Genocide,” she wrote. “I will never forget the fear and pain this has caused my ancestors and those close to me and will continue to do everything in my power to educate those around me so that there is a truthful and just resolution of the Armenian Genocide. I love my heritage so much, this will be a part of me forever.”
