Kim Zolciak Shares an Update and Photo of Son Kash After Dog Attack

The kid is alright.

Kim Zolciak posted an update on her 4-year-old son's health on July 13.

Kash had emergency surgery for a dog bite to his face in April.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member revealed in an Instagram post on April 23 that her son Kash was bitten by a dog and had to get surgery.

She captioned the photo, "The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare."

But a few months later it seems as though her son is doing just fine.

"[The plastic surgeon] is pleased with his progress and he doesn't feel he will need additional surgeries' THANK YOU GOD and Thank you Dr Williams for your magical hands," she captioned a photo update of the 4-year-old and his doctor.

"Kash's face was broken and had to be pieced literally back together and due to all the swelling/trauma you don't know for several weeks if more surgery is needed in order to align the face," she continued.

"Well we just got the news we were hoping for! This is nothing short of a divine intervention. Thank you for all your prayers you have no idea how much they truly helped! Upwards and Onwards."

Two years previously, the reality star had her own medical scare when she suffered a stroke in 2015.

It affected her health so badly that it, unfortunately, made her have to drop out of Dancing With The Stars.

On July 16, Kim took to Instagram to let her fans to know that every minute counts when it comes to surviving a stroke.

"I'm so thankful for everyone’s quick thinking. I’ve never seen doctors/nurses move as fast as they did the second I was wheeled in. I’m so thankful for my medical team.”

The mother of six said that she still has some lingering symptoms of the stroke.

She still has the occasional slip of her tongue or forgetting a word, but is almost fully recovered and feeling great.
