Look, we enjoy the drama of the Real Housewives franchise as much as anyone. But the reality aspect of these Bravo series can occasionally take things a too real place, namely when it turns to family conflicts. We’ve seen it with the Gorga kids over in New Jersey, and we saw it with Kim Zolciak’s heartbreaking falling out with her parents on Don’t Be Tardy.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star always seemed to have a difficult relationship with her mother, but fans of the show will remember that she was very close with her dad, Joe. So it was particularly difficult to stomach when we saw them face off in court last year, after Kim’s parents started spreading negative stories to the press. And as far as we know, the mother of six hasn’t spoken with her folks since.

During last night’s March 9 episode of RHoA, Wetpaint Entertainment asked Viggle LIVE! users if they thought that Kim would — and should — make up with her estranged parents.

It’s good to see we’ve got a lot of optimists in our midst, as over 80 percent of users believe that Kim should reconcile with her parents, as they are her family at the end of the day. Meanwhile, 20 percent believe that too much has already been said and done for the three to make peace.

Considering Kim and her husband Kroy Biermann have welcomed four new little additions into their family over the past three years, we would like to see Kim and her parents reach an understanding so that they can have a relationship with their grandchildren. Today’s a new day!

Do you think Kim could repair her relationship with her parents? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
