Kit Harington Takes Off the Black for Feature Film Role — HOLY ABS!

If only Ygritte could see Jon Snow now. Or, more precisely, the smokin' hot actor who plays our favorite man of the Night’s Watch. Kit Harington recently stripped down to his leather underpinnings for a new feature film role as slave-turned-gladiator Milo. Even Russell Crowe would be envious of those abs.

Judge for yourself here!

They He will debut on the big screen in Pompeii on February 21, 2014. The movie, directed by Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson, centers around the 79 A.D. eruption of that infamous volcano Mount Vesuvius.

Unfortunately, Kit/Milo’s at the center of the tectonic action as he pursues upper-class lovely Cassia (played by Emily Browning, aka Babydoll of Sucker Punch). Cue tears streaked with volcanic ash.

But the very best part of Pompeii: It’s in 3-D. Those abs; they seem so real. (And they are, Kit insists. “I was on a very severe diet and training six days a week,” he told Entertainment Weekly.)

Sadly, though, Kit says his revealing get-up isn’t the normal outfit for his character. “It’s a costume I don’t actually wear for the rest of the film, but it’s an establishing one.” Yes, as in it establishes what you’ve been hiding under that black cloak.
