Kitten Saved After Getting Stuck in a Vending Machine (VIDEO)

For reasons that aren’t really understood by humans, cats sometimes get stuck in hard-to-reach places, like the roof, tree branches, and occasionally even house slippers.

In Guntersville, Alabama, this funny little feline was no exception. According to WAFF, animal control officers responded to calls from several customers at a local Big Lots store who heard meowing noises coming from the inside of a Dr. Pepper vending machine.

The heroic officers used a scope to look into the machine and found a scared little kitten wedged inside. We have no idea how the little kitty got into this mess, or how long he or she was inside, when a good samaritan came along and rescued her.

Officer Mike Henderson with Guntersville Animal Control says, “I know a little girl that’s been wanting a kitten real good. I decided to give it to her, and she named it Pepper.”

So it’s a ‘tail’ with a happy ending. We hope Pepper enjoys his or her new forever home!
